JUSTICE D K SINGH) The present intra Court appeal has been filed impugning the judgment and order dated 04.03.2024 passed by the learned Single Judge in W.P.No.56758/2017 (S-KSRTC). 2. The parties are referred to as per their ranking before the Writ Court for the sake of convenience. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8689-DB WA No. 613 of 2024 3. The petitioner has challenged the punishment order whereby a penalty of Rs.2,233/- was imposed on him, on conclusion of the domestic inquiry against him. 4. The respondent No.1/Appellate authority vide order dated 26.05.2016 confirmed the order of punishment of recovery of Rs.2,233/- passed by respondent No.2/Disciplinary Authority. 5. Looking at the triviality of the charges, we deem it appropriate that 'warning' to the petitioner would be enough. This 'warning' would not come on the way of consideration of his case for promotion. It is appropriate to convert the penalty to a 'warning' to the petitioner. The authorities will consider the case of the petitioner for promotion, if he is otherwise entitled/eligible for promotion. 6.
