The grievance of the petitioners is that the wife of petitioner No. 1 has been kidnapped by the private respondent and when the petitioners approached the Police for lodging FIR in this regard, no action is being taken by the Police, presumably on the pretext that this Court in WP(C) No.246/2026 filed by the respondent No. 5 and his wife, has passed an order on 09.02.2026, whereby the official respondents have been asked to look into the grievance of the petitioners therein for providing them security so as to ensure that there is no interference into their married life, if they are approached by them. 2. Heard and considered. 3. A perusal of the order dated 09.02.2026 passed in WP(C) No. 246/2026 clearly indicates that the Court has not expressed any opinion as regards the validity of marriage of alleged wife of the Sr. No. 126 2 | P a g e WP(Crl) No. 9/2026 petitioner No. 1 (respondent No. 5 herein), as such, the Police while looking into the complaint filed by the petitioners have been left free to enquire into/investigate the question regarding validity of marriage of alleged wife of petitioner No. 1 (respondent No. 5 herein). 4. In view of the above, the present writ petition is disposed of by providing that the Police shall look into the grievance of the petitioners projected by them through application dated 03.02.2026, notwithstanding order dated 09.02.2026 passed in WP(C) No. 246/2026, of course, without harassing the alleged wife of petitioner No. 1 (respondent No. 5 herein), lest it may amount to violation of aforesaid order.
