For the Opp. Party : A.P.P ------- 03/30.03.2026 Heard Ms. Nidhi Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Jasidih P.S. Case No.271 of 2025. The petitioner is alleged to have enticed the daughter of the informant for the purposes of solemnizing marriage with her. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there was a love affair between the victim and the petitioner. It has been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 11.10.2025. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. It appears from paragraph-23 of the case diary which contains the statement of the victim under Section 180 of BNSS that there was a love affair between her and the petitioner for the last two years and the same was objected to by her parents. She has further stated that on 25.09.2025 she had left her house and had solemnized marriage with the petitioner in a temple. Regard being had to the statements of the victim, as noted above, which indicates that there was a love affair between the petitioner and the victim, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge- III cum POCSO Special Court, Deoghar in connection with Jasidih P.S.
