Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the name of the petitioners is entered in the RTC as found at Annexure-D2. However, it has come to the knowledge of the petitioners that in the Aakarband, the entire extent of 5 acres 23 guntas are shown as kharab lands and therefore the petitioners have given a representation to the Tahsildar, Bengaluru North Taluk at Annexure-A dated 11.02.2026 for rectification of the Aakarband. 3. Learned Additional Government Advocate submits that the Aakarband cannot be rectified by the Tahsildar, it is the Survey Settlement Authorities who are required to rectify the Aakarband. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:21419 WP No. 11802 of 2026 4. Accordingly, writ petition stands disposed of reserving liberty to the petitioners to file an application before respondent No.2 - Assistant Director of Land Records, Bengaluru North Taluk to rectify the mistake in the Aakarband and remove the words 'kharab', insofar as the entire extent of 5 acres 23 guntas in Sy.No.33 of Chikkasandra Village, Yeshwanthapura Holbi, Bengaluru North Taluk is concerned. If such an application is filed, the Assistant Director of Land Records shall consider the same in accordance with law after issuing notice to all concerned.
