Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side. With the consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the admission stage itself. 3. It is the case of the petitioner that he entered into a rental agreement dated 14.06.2025 with the President/Mr.S.H.Ansar Basha of Wakf namely, Anjumanane Ithihathe Islam Trust for 11 eleven months for a monthly rent of Rs.5000/- and carrying on his business from then. While so, on 25.11.2025, the Wakf Board officials came to his premises and sealed the premises as per the resolution of the Board dated 24.06.2025 which was published in Tamil Nadu Gazette on 13.08.2025 but the petitioner was not aware of the same. Hence, the petitioner made a representation dated 27.11.2025 to the respondent requesting either for a new rental agreement or to permit him to take all his belongings from the subject premises, however, there was inaction on the part of the respondent and therefore, the present Writ Petition. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 10969 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 4. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 27.11.2025 and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
