Dayal, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. for the State. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Pathalgadda P.S. Case No. 24 of 2025. It has been alleged that the house of the petitioner was searched and 3.821 Kg. of brown sugar, 2.784 Kg. of opium and cash of Rs.23,60,700/- were recovered. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on the confession of the petitioner the house of one Roshan Dangi was searched and huge quantity of cash was recovered and the confessional statement of Roshan Dangi revealed that the cash and opium was kept by the wife of Roshan Dangi in the house of Ruby Devi. It has also been submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 12.06.2025. Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. Regard being had to the huge quantity of brown sugar recovered apart from the cash, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. The same stands rejected. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
