The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent - Assistant Director of Land Records and Survey Settlement, Nelamangala Taluk has done nothing pursuant to the application given by the petitioner at Annexure-A dated 17.11.2024 and Annexure-A1 dated 24.12.2025 for survey of the converted lands of the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent - ADLR to either proceed to conduct the survey after issuance of notice to the neighbouring landowners or issue an endorsement to the petitioner, if the respondent is unable to proceed to conduct the survey for any reason in accordance with law. Nevertheless, the entire proceedings shall be concluded as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10910 WP No. 4631 of 2026 period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
