In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs: (i) For issuance of an appropriate writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order, direction commanding the respondent authorities especially Respondent Nos. 7 to release the pension of the petitioner, who retired from the post of Field Assistant, Agriculture Department, Saraikela, Jharkhand on 31.03.2015. b. Further for commanding the respondent authorities to release the arrears of pension of the petitioner with an interest of 18% calculated till the date of actual payment of arrears. 2026:JHHC:2954 2 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after superannuation on 31.03.2015 pension has not been fixed nor paid to the petitioner. He submits that he has already filed representation but no action has been taken by the respondents. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if the petitioner files a detailed fresh representation before the respondent no. 2-the Director, Directorate of Agriculture, his case will be considered. 5. Considering the submission of the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 2- the Director, Directorate of Agriculture who will consider the case of the petitioner and will pass appropriate order. 6. The representation should be filed within four weeks and the decision should be taken within six weeks thereafter. 7. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled for pension and pensionary benefits the same should be extended to the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected for any reasons whatsoever the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period. 8.
