Laskar, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 2 to 6 and Ms. D D. Barman, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent no. 7 i.e. the D.C. Kamrup, Amingaon and Mr. S. Sutradhar, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no. 1 i.e. IIT, Guwahati. 2. It is submitted by Mr. Phookan that the present interlocutory application was filed by Mrs. Meera Saikia the wife of Bhuban Chandra Saikia, one of the legal heirs of Late Krishna Chandra Baruah to implead herself as a party respondent in I.A.(Civil) No. 3026/2025 in L.A. Appeal No. 5153/2025. The I.A. (Civil) 3026/2025 is an Interlocutory Application for condoning the delay in preferring the connected L.A. Appeal No. 5153/2025. But, the said interlocutory application i.e. the condonation of delay has already been disposed of by this Court on 28.02.2026 and vide the said order it has been dismissed and accordingly the connected L.A. Appeal is also not registered accordingly. As the interlocutory application has already been disposed of by this Court on 28.02.2026, the present interlocutory application praying for impleading the present petitioner as respondent no. 7 in the said I.A.(Civil) 3026/2025 has already become infructuous. In view of this Mr. Phookan has submitted that the applicant does not what to press it further. 3. Considering the submissions made by Mr. Phookan and other circumstances of this case, especially considering the fact that the connected I.A.(Civil) 3026/2025 has already been disposed of, in which the present applicant wanted to implead herself as a party respondent no. 7, the present petition stands disposed of as rendered infructuous.
