Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.2 - Tahsildar, Chintamani Taluk issued the impugned notice at Annexure-E dated 16.03.2026 invoking Sections 94 and 104 of the Karnataka Land Revenue Act, 1964 to evict the petitioner from the lands in question. - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:19840 WP No. 10089 of 2026 Learned counsel submits that without giving an opportunity of hearing, the Tahsildar has unilaterally decided that the petitioner has encroached upon the lands in question. On the other hand the petitioner purchased the lands in question that is a residential site in terms of registered sale dated 15.12.2023 as found Annexure-A. Therefore the petitioner has given a reply at Annexure-F dated 17.03.2026 to the Tahsildar enclosing all the documents of title. 3. Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Tahsildar, Chintamani Taluk to consider the reply given by the petitioner and take action only in accordance with law.
