Grievance raised in this writ petition filed by way of Public Interest Litigation is that respondent authorities are laying down a Railway Under Ground Bridge at Railway Gate No.41/Level Crossing No.41 (LC No.41/GSU) in a U-shaped/ U-turn alignment within the limits of Kankanalapalli Village, Sattenapalli Mandal, Palnadu District, which according to petitioner would cause difficulty to public, lead to stagnation of water and might lead to a number of accidents, etc., besides giving rise to public safety concerns as well. 2. It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that various representations were submitted to authorities in this respect. Reference is 2 HCJ & CGR, J W.P(PIL).No.209 of 2026 also made to communication dated 15.07.2026 addressed by a Member of Parliament (LS) from 14-Narasaraopet Constituency, Andhra Pradesh to Divisional Railway Manager, South Coast Railway, Guntur Division, Guntur but no action has still been taken. 3. Learned counsel for respondent Nos.1 to 4, however, points out that after receipt of representations including communication dated 15.07.2026, matter was reconsidered by authorities and certain changes in alignment have already been carried out. 4. Keeping in view facts and circumstances as above, it is directed that changes in alignment which have been carried out be made available to petitioner within a period of one week. In case petitioner still has any grievance, same be placed before authorities within the next one week. Authorities should look into the same and decide it within a period of two (2) weeks thereafter by passing a speaking order. 5. Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
