Impugned in this petition, filed by the Union Territory of J&K and two others is an order dated 07.08.2025 passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Jammu Bench, Jammu [for short “the Tribunal”] in OA No. 1150/2025 titled “Krishan Lal Vs. UT of J&K and others”, whereby the Tribunal has allowed the OA and directed the petitioners herein to issue last pay certificate in his favour within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of order. Serial No. 10 2 WP(C) No. 413/2026 2. From perusal of the order impugned, we find that order impugned is totally innocuous and does not determine the rights of the parties. Since a plea was taken before the Tribunal that the pension of the respondent was re-fixed based on the last pay drawn and accordingly, the revised gratuity orders were issued, as such, a prayer was made by the respondent herein for issuance of direction to the petitioners to issue the last pay certificate, on the basis of which, his pension had been re-fixed and gratuity revised. 3. Acceding to the aforesaid request made by the respondent, the OA was disposed of with a direction to the petitioners to issue last pay certificate in favour of the applicant within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of the order. 4. We fail to understand as to how the petitioners could be aggrieved of such order. The last pay certificate of the respondent is not a confidential document or an official secret, which cannot be shared with the respondent. 5. For the foregoing reasons, we find no merit in this petition and the same is, accordingly, dismissed.
