On 29.07.2026, petitioner has been asked to vacate the official accommodation provided to her within a week. Petitioner contends that due to medical problems, it is not possible for her to immediately vacate the accommodation, especially during rainy season. Petitioner contends that she has made a representation to the Forest Range Officer concerned, who may be directed to take decision thereupon. 5. Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by directing the Range Officer, Nainital Range to take decision on petitioner’s representation, as per law, within three months from today. For a period of two months or till decision is taken on petitioner’s representation, whichever is later, petitioner shall not be evicted from the accommodation in question.
