Petitioners were engaged through outsourcing agency for discharging duties as Group-D employee in Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam Ltd. (respondent no. 2), in the year 2021. According to the petitioners, they were arrested due to a false FIR registered against them and they were disengaged from service on account of their arrest. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that appeal against judgment rendered by learned Trial Court is pending before this Court and petitioners are without any employment, therefore, respondent no. 2 be directed to re- engage the petitioners. 7. Mr. Tarun Lakhera, learned counsel appearing for respondent no. 2 submits that letter of award given to respondent no. 3 for supplying manpower expired in March, 2023. He submits that if 2026:UHC:2252 petitioners have any grievance, then they can approach the competent authority in respondent no. 2, by making a representation. 8. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of by permitting petitioners to make representation for their re- engagement to the competent authority in respondent no. 2. If petitioners make such representation within two weeks from today, decision, thereupon shall be taken by respondent no. 2, as per law, within four weeks thereafter.
