That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority to immediately grant financial assistance payable to the petitioner. 10.3. That, the Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the respondent authority to grant financial assistance to the petitioner as per the Revenue Book Circular / State government Policy. 10.4. Any other relief or reliefs may also be granted to the petitioners which this Hon'ble court deems fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the son of the petitioner died due to drowning, as such, the petitioner is entitled to compensation as per the Revenue Book Circular (RBC). He submits that though the postmortem report as well as the other supporting documents manifestly show that the deceased died by drowning, but till date, compensation has not been granted. 3.Per contra, learned counsel for the State submits that the concerned authorities have received the documents and are currently processing the claim. He further submits that upon completion of the process, compensation will be disbursed to the petitioner in accordance with law. 4.Heard learned counsel for the parties and also perused the 3 documents annexed with the petition. 5.Evidently, the son of the petitioner died on account of drowning and necessary compensation is required to be granted under the provisions of the RBC 6.Considering the aforesaid aspects of the matter, the respondent authorities are directed to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.With the aforesaid observations/directions, the Petition is disposed of.
