It is the contention of the petitioner that pursuant to the application filed by the petitioner seeking regularisation of unauthorised occupation of 30 guntas of land in Sy.No.97 of Karehalli Village, Thyamagondlu Hobli, Nelamangala Taluk, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10479 WP No. 2889 of 2026 Bangalore Rural District and the Committee for Regulation of Unauthorised Occupation resolving to grant the said lands in favour of the petitioner and dharaksth register for the year 2022-23 is produced at Annexure-E showing the petitioner's name. However, neither saguvali chit is issued nor the name of the petitioner is entered in the revenue records. It is the contention of the petitioner that though several representations have been given by the petitioner including the recent one on 26.03.2025 at Annexure-N, the Tahsildar, Nelamangala Taluk has not issued saguvali chit and not entered the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. 3. The prayer in the petition is to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent No.4-Tahsildar, Nelamangala Taluk, to issue saguvali chit in favour of the petitioner. The counsel further prays that directions be issued to the respondent-Tahsildar to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records. 4. The writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to respondent No.4 – Tahsildar, Nelamangala Taluk to consider the representation given by the petitioner at - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:10479 WP No. 2889 of 2026 Annexure-N dated 26.03.2025, verify the records and find out whether the petitioner was indeed granted the land. If it is found that the Committee had in fact regularised the land in favour of the petitioner, the Tahsildar shall proceed to pass necessary orders issuing saguvali chit, collect kimmath and enter his name in the land records pursuant to issuance of the saguvali chit in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly.
