This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, claiming the following direction: “to issue an appropriate writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of MANDAMUS Declaring the inaction on the part of the respondents 2 to 4 its subordinates in taking action for cancellation of Electricity connections provided to the encroachers on the Wakf Land by mutating the same in the name of the Wakf Institution in respect of the Wakf Properties Bearing Sy Nos.128 317 320 and 340 of an total extent of Ac 4458 cents situated in Kurnool Mandal and Town having received the various representations Notice letters from the Government Authority dated 6122015 as being illegal Arbitrary Capricious Malafide amounts to dereliction of duties consequently direct the respondent 2 to 4 not to accord any new connections etc in respect of above mentioned Wakf Property” 2. None represented for the petitioners. 3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents furnished the Written instructions dated 15.09.2026 submitted by the Assistant Engineer Distribution, APSPDCL, Bellary Road, Section, Kurnool, wherein it is stated as here under:- “Brief Points/Written Instructions WP.No.11147/2016 filed by Sri. Shaik Saleem, S/0 Late Shaik Fareed and 3 others regarding not issue any fresti connections in respect of Wakf Properties situated in Sy.No.128,137,320 & 340 situated at Kurnool town. It is submit that No services were issued in the wakf Board lands without any authorized documents produced by the applicant for electrical service connections. If the said petitioner given any services the action may be taken as per APSPDCL departmental rules in vogue.” 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that, in view of the said Written Instructions, it is categorically stated that no service connections are granted in favour of the encroachers on the Wakf Land. 4 5. Therefore, in view of the instructions as extracted above, the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. 6. Accordingly, writ petition is closed. No costs. 7.
