By this petition, the petitioner herein is seeking direction upon respondents particularly respondent No. 3, to forthwith release/disburse the payment of Rs. 17,00,000/- together with simple interest @ 12% per annum. 02. The respondents are stated to have issued two allotment orders in favour of the petitioner for construction of Road by way of G-II and G-III layers of 25 mm thick semi-dense bituminous carpet to be laid with mechanical paver from house of Molvi Sahab to G. M. Shah Noor Avenue at Malla Bagh, Naseem Bagh, Srinagar and construction/development of road link at Shah Anwar Colony (By pass), Srinagar. 03. The petitioner is stated to have completed both the works within the stipulated period. It is further stated that the petitioner has borrowed money from his creditors and pays them huge interest and was expecting that his hard-earned payment would be released in due time, Mohammad Yaseen Dar I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document but the respondents have unnecessarily retained the payment of the petitioner till date. 04. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would feel satisfied if the respondents are directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner for the release of payment. 05. Having regard to the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner the instant writ petition is disposed of at its threshold, with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 13.12.2025, filed by the petitioner before them, within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is furnished by the petitioner to them. 06.
