The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: A letter dated 08.09.2026 has been received from the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Vizianagaram, addressed to the Registrar (Judicial), wherein it has been reported that the Petitioner/Accused has already undergone and served the sentence of imprisonment as affirmed and confirmed by the learned Appellate Court upon adjudication of the appeal. Further, upon verification of the release certificate furnished through the concerned police authorities, it has emerged that the Petitioner was released from prison on 16.08.2024 under remission rules. In light of the aforesaid factual developments, and having regard to the circumstance that the sentence imposed upon the Petitioner has already been fully undergone and the Petitioner stands released from incarceration, no surviving cause or effective grievance remains for adjudication in the present revision proceedings. Consequently, the Criminal Revision Case is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.
