P.P. --- 02 / 16.03.2026 Heard Mr. Anil Kumar Keshri, learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Spl. P.P. 2. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Barkagaon P.S. Case No. 198/2025. 3. It has been alleged that the informant and her husband had deposited a huge amount of money in Aryakarta Nidhi Ltd. which is a non-banking company. The Director and other officials of the company had embezzled the entire amount. 4. It has been submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is the Managing Director of Aryakarta Nidhi Ltd. and charge-sheet has already been submitted by the Police. 5. It has further been submitted that the agreement for transfer of land was executed with the informant by Ranjeet Kumar and his father and the main allegations seems to be levelled against the Director Ranjeet Kumar. Learned Counsel submits that the petitioner does not have any criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 15.11.2025. 6. Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner and has submitted that the prayer of one of the co-accused Balkrishna Mahto has already been rejected by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court. ( 2026:JHHC:7147 ) To this, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against Balkrishna Mahto was more serious than that of the petitioner. 7. On consideration of the fact that the main accused seems to be Ranjeet Kumar who had essayed a pivotal role in the entire offence, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Hazaribag in connection with Barkagaon P.S. Case No. 198 of 2025, corresponding to G.R. No. 156 of 2026. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J) P.K.S. Uploaded
