2026:JHHC:7127 IN THE HIGH COURT OF JHARKHAND AT RANCHI B.A. No. 1986 of 2026 Rangiya Jamuda @ Bule … … Petitioner Versus The State of Jharkhand … Opposite Party ------- CORAM : HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE RONGON MUKHOPADHYAY ------- For the Petitioner : Mr. Abhinav Kumar, Advocate For the Opp. Party : A.P.P ------- 02/16.03.2026 Heard Mr. Abhinav Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Chaibasa Mahila P.S. Case No.12 of 2025. It has been alleged that the victim was sexually exploited by unknown persons, as a result of which she became pregnant. The victim appears to have named the petitioner as the person who had committed rape upon her in her statement recorded under Section 180 of BNSS. She has also implicated her father, uncle as well as her step brother of committing rape upon her. It seems from the allegation that the victim has spared no one and it further reveals about the absurdity of the allegations leveled by the victim. The petitioner is in custody since 26.08.2025. Regard being had to the above, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II cum Special Judge, POCSO, West Singhbhum at Chaibasa in connection with Chaibasa Mahila P.S.
