Since common questions of facts and law are involved in these petitions, therefore, these are being heard and decided together. However, for the sake of brevity and convenience, facts of Writ Petition (MS) No. 1550 of 2020, alone are being considered and discussed. 3. Reliefs sought by petitioner in WPMS No. 1550 of 2020 are as follows: “i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to enhance the 10% seats of B.Sc. Nursing and G.N.M. Diploma under Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scheme in his institute as per the minutes/guidelines issued by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). UKHC010088102020 2026:UHC:7498 ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of the mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to enhance the 10% seats of Pharmacy under Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Scheme in his college and give him approval under the law.” 4. The reliefs as claimed cannot be granted in a writ petition. If petitioner has any grievance, then he shall be at liberty to approach the competent authority by making representation. 5.
