Alleging that the respondent has not complied with the orders and directions issued by the Coordinate Bench of this Court in W.P. (S) No. 14074 of 2025 dated 02.01.2026, the petitioner /complainant is before this court in this contempt petition. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the respondent submits that order under contempt has been complied with and the representation filed by the petitioner has been rejected vide order dated 25.03.2026 (Annexure C-3). 2 3. In reply, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance raised by the petitioner in his representation has not been considered and the same has been rejected without any due consideration. 4. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the material available on record. 5. Perusal of order dated 25.03.2026 (Annexure C-3) passed by the State Government show that departmental enquiry initiated against the petitioner has been concluded and in pursuance of the order passed by the Enquiry Officer, a recommendation has been made for recovery of Rs. 20,43,136/- under the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Pension) Rules, 1976 (hereinafter referred to as "the Rules, 1976"), in respect of the financial loss caused to the State by the petitioner. 6. Having considered the aforementioned facts, and since a decision has been taken on the petitioner's representation and the order under contempt has been complied with, therefore, I do not find any reason to proceed further in the matter initiating contempt proceeding against the respondent. 7. In view of above, the contempt petition stands disposed of. However, the petitioner is at liberty to take recourse to law with regard to his grievance. 8. Accordingly, the contempt proceedings initiated against the respondent is dropped.
