The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that the sole accused died on 18.08.2015. It is further submitted that, on 03.09.2026, this Court issued Non-Bailable Warrant against the sole accused to secure his presence for hearing the old appeal. 2. In view of the death of the sole accused on 18.08.2015, therefore, the appeal stands abated by reason of the death of the sole accused. 3. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Srikakulam is directed to submit a detailed report within two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of this order, including the delay of around 11 years for submission of the death of the sole accused before this Court, for contributing to the case going on listing, inviting order of Non-Bailable Warrant in the meantime, and also submit the mechanism followed in sending written/e-mail instructions in the Appeal, if any, with those enclosures. 4. Accordingly, the Criminal Appeal is dismissed as abated.
