Learned Additional Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that he has filed an application in Form No.57 dated 14.03.2019 seeking regularization of unauthorized occupation of 04 acres of land in Sy.No.75 of Bidaloti Village, Holavanhalli Post, Koratagere Taluk, Tumkur District as per Annexure- B. But no orders are passed by the Committee considering the application filed by the petitioner. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits while pointing out to the RTCs at Annexure-A that grants have been made in favour of other such applicants and there is no difficulty for the Committee to consider the application - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8796 WP No. 3199 of 2026 and pass necessary orders. Several reminders were also filed by the petitioner for consideration of his application seeking regularization but the same have not been considered till date either. Hence, the prayer in the petition is to direct the respondents to consider the application seeking regularisation. 4. Having regard to the contentions raised in the writ petition and submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that, respondent No.1-Tahsildar was duty bound to place the application filed by the petitioner before the ‘Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation’ and the Committee was also duty bound to consider the application and pass necessary orders. 5. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a specific direction to respondent No.1- Tahsildar, Koratagere Taluk, to verify from the records as to whether such an application filed by the petitioner is pending consideration. If it is found that such an - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:8796 WP No. 3199 of 2026 application was indeed filed by the petitioner in the year 2019 and the application is yet to be considered, the respondent-Tahsildar is directed to place the application before the Committee along with his recommendation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, the Committee shall consider the application and pass necessary orders in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months thereafter.
