Heard Ms. Seema Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Dr. Saurabh Kumar Pande, learned Deputy Advocate General, appearing for the State/respondent No.1. 2. The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure with the following prayer :- “It is therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be quash the FIR bearing No. 173/2017 registered ROHIT KUMAR CHANDRA Digitally signed by ROHIT KUMAR CHANDRA 2 at Police Station Bemetara. District Bemetara, C.G. for commission of offence punishable under Sections 409, 420, 120B read with 34 of IPC. Sections 3 & 4 of The Prize Chins and Money Circulation Schemes (Banning) Act, 1978 and Section 10 of The Chhattisgarh Protection of Depositors Interest Act. 2005, Charge Sheet bearing No. 648A 2022 filed on the basis of said FIR and the Special Case (CG Protection of Depositors Interest Act 2005) No. 04/2021 parties being 'State of C.G. vs. Sukhdev Singh and others’ pending before the District and Sessions Judge, Bemetara, District Bemetara, C.G. so far as it relates to the petitioner herein, in the ends of justice.” 3. From perusal of the record it appears that the impugned FIR has been lodged way back on 26.03.2017 and charge-sheet has already been filed on 14.06.2022 and there is no interim order passed by this Court in the present case and it is informed that the trial is in progress and evidence of prosecution witnesses is being recorded, in view of the same, we are not inclined to entertain the matter. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would cooperate with the trial and prays for issuance of a direction to expedite the trial. 5. Accordingly, the instant petition stands disposed of with a direction to the concerned trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously.
