By means of this petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, petitioner has prayed for the following relief: "(I) Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the Respondent no. 2 to decide representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2026 which is pending before Respondent no. 2 within a short period which may be fixed by this Hon'ble Court." 3. Learned Standing Counsel states that he does not have any objection in the event a direction is issued to the respondent No.- 2 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner in accordance with law. 4. In view of the above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.- 2 to consider and decide the pending application/ representation of the petitioner dated 25th July, 2026 strictly in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
