The petitioner, above-named, who is in custody since 28.09.2025 in connection with Hussainabad P.S. Case No. 219 of 2025 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 2274 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 274, 275, 317(4), 317(5), 318(4), 336(3) and 3(5) of the BNS, read with Section 47(a) of the Excise Act, pending in the Court of S.D.J.M., Palamau at Daltonganj, is pressed into motion. As per the prosecution case, 314 of bottles of foreign liquor were seized from a Creta vehicle. It is submitted by the learned counsel on behalf of petitioner that he has no concern with the seized liquor. It is submitted that similarly situated co-accused person, namely, Raghubir Kumar @ Raghubir Kumar Singh has already been enlarged on bail in B.A. No.11989 of 2025. Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail. Under the circumstances, the above-named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty- Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below.
