Versus The State of Jharkhand … Opposite Party(s). CORAM : SRI ANANDA SEN, J. ------ For the Petitioner(s) : Mr. Satyanshu Shubham, Advocate For the State : Mr. Suraj Deo Munda, APP …...... 02 /26.02.2026: This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 103(2), 61(2)(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. 2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail. 4. The petitioner is not named in the First Information Report. This is a case of murder. The name of the petitioner transpires on the confessional statement of one Manoj Kumar Raut which is evident from the impugned order itself. Manoj Kumar Raut has been granted bail by the coordinate Bench in B.A. No. 9285 of 2025. The petitioner is in custody since 28.11.2025. 5. Considering the fact that except the confessional statement there is no other material against the petitioner, I am inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Deoghar in connection with ST Case No. 249 of 2026:JHHC:5777 2 2025 arising out of Kunda PS Case No. 102 of 2025 subject to the condition that one of the bailors should be a close relative of the petitioner, having sufficient landed property in his/her own name within the State of Jharkhand. 6. Accordingly, this bail application is allowed. (ANANDA SEN, J.) 26.02.2026 Tanuj/CP-3 Uploaded on 28.02.2026
