Case No. 22 of 2025 corresponding to NDPS Case No.56 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 21(b)/22/29 of the NDPS Act and Section 111(2)(b) of the BNS pending in the Court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi, is pressed into motion. Earlier the bail petition was rejected by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court in B.A. No.5055 of 2025 and the present bail petition is renewed on the ground that the co-accused has been granted bail standing on similar footing. Charge sheet has been submitted and charge has also been framed in this case. Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition. It is submitted that the petitioner has criminal antecedent and is involved in the offence of similar nature. Considering the submissions advanced, this Court is of the view that mere submission of charge sheet, is not a change of circumstance for renewal of bail application.
