Dr MOJJADA RAMAKRISHNA Counsel for the Respondent(S): 1. GP FOR LAND ACQUISITION The Court made the following order: The short grievance of the petitioners is that, inspite of acquiring their house properties for Pula Subbaiah Velugonda Project and inspite of making representation dated 10.03.2022, the 3rd respondent is not paying the compensation to them under R & R package. 2. Heard Sri Mojjada Rama Krishna, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Venkata Satya Naryana, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition. 2 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader upon instructions of Special Deputy Collector (L.A.), R&R Unit Markapur dated 18.08.2026 contended that, the names of the petitioners were recorded in manual SES and also in a separate list in the Gazettee recording the details of new constructions at the time of SES, therefore, the petitioners request along with other PAFs whose structures are noted as new constructions in Kalanuthula Gazette will be submitted to the government for taking a decision. He further submitted that, the petitioners’ representation would be considered by the respondents in accordance with law. 4. Though the writ petition is of the year 2023, the respondents did not choose to file their counter. However, as they have an intention to consider the petitioners case and that they have stated that they would consider the petitioners representation there is no purpose in keeping the writ pending. As such, this court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with the following direction: The respondents are directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation/application dated 10.03.2022 made for payment of the compensation under R & R package as expeditiously as possible not later than three(03) months from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioners. 3 Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Miscellaneous applications, pending if any, shall stand closed. ________________________ JUSTICE RAVI CHEEMALAPATI BRS
