The petitioner is seeking regular bail, in connection with Bagdehari P.S. Case No. 28/2024, registered for the offences punishable u/s 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109, 3(5) Β.Ν.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamtara. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner and the informant are the agnates and the altercation took place due to land dispute. He also submits that the co-accused has been granted regular bail in BA No.7606 of 2025 by the coordinate bench and the petitioner is in custody since 3/11/2025. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the state opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations of assault are there against the petitioner. 5. Considering that both the sides are agnates and one of the co- accused has been granted regular bail and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedents as disclosed in para 13 of the petition and the petitioner is in custody since 3/11/2025, I am inclined to grant 2026:JHHC:1127 2 regular bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on regular bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jamtara in connection with Bagdehari P.S.
