T S RAYALU The Court made the following: 3 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for willful, wanton and deliberate disobedience in implementation of the order passed by this Court on 05.11.2025 in W.P.No.32814 of 2023. 2. Aggrieved by the action of the respondents/contemnors in withholding the payment of Rs.11,88,381/- payable to the petitioner pursuant to the work executed by him, the petitioner filed W.P.No.32814 of 2023, wherein, this Court passed the following order on 05.11.2025: “6. In view of the same, instead of keeping the writ petition pending, this writ petition is disposed of and the respondents are directed to pay the admitted amounts, payable to the petitioner as per the quality control certificate dated 19.09.2023, within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3. Heard learned counsel on either side. 4. Today when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel for the respondents/contemnors furnished a copy of instructions of the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department bearing letter NO.FIN01- FMU0MISC/350/2022(1778130), dated 11.09.2026 wherein it is stated that pursuant to the orders passed by this Court, an amount of Rs.11,01,034/- was paid to the petitioner on 11.09.2026 vide bill No.2026-71173655. The same is also admitted by learned counsel for the petitioner. 4 5. In view of the fact that the orders passed by this Court have been complied, this contempt case is closed.
