(2) According to petitioner, her husband participated in Uttarakhand Aandolan, but there was no declaration made in his favour, even though process therefor was undergoing. Petitioner’s husband died on 26.5.2018. Now, petitioner wants certain benefits, available to dependants of rajya aandolankari. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: “i. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to consider the case of the husband of petitioner regarding identification as a Rajya Andolankari in pursuant to relevant Government Orders issued by the State Govt. in this regard, particularly letter dated 07.04.2025 send by SDM, Kirtinagar, Tehri Garhwal to DM, Tehri Garhwal. (Annexure No. 12, Page No. 44 to 46) in this writ petition. ii. Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to give all benefits to the petitioner in pursuant to the Officer Memorandum dated 30.11.2021 (Annexure NO. 11, Page NO. 41 to 43) in this writ petition.” UKHC010066602026 2026:UHC:7481 (3) After arguing for a while, learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner be permitted to make representation to District Magistrate. (4) Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation. If she makes representation to District Magistrate concerned within three weeks, decision thereupon shall be taken, as per law, within nine months thereafter.
