The petitioner participated for recruitment as Bank Guard under the Ex-Servicemen Category in the permanent vacancy of the State Bank of India. 2. He prays for a direction to recommend the petitioner for the subject post. 3. The report filed by the Bank mentions that the petitioner could not be selected as he failed to pass the physical aptitude test phase-II as he secured 34 marks out of 40 marks whereas the minimum qualifying marks was 36 as stated in the SOP. 4. As it appears that the petitioner has failed to qualify in the physical aptitude test, accordingly, there is no question of providing recruitment to him. 5. No relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case. 2 6. The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. 7. The status of recruitment handed over by the learned advocate representing the Bank in Court today is treated as Annexure “R-4” to the report filed by way of affidavit. The same is retained with the records. 8. Copy of the same has been handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner in Court today. 9. All parties shall act on the basis of a server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. 10.
