Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for about seven months, charge-sheet has already been submitted and charges have also been framed in connection with the instant case. Prosecution intends to rely upon the 10 witnesses in order prove its case. Learned advocate for the State has produced the Case Diary. Having considered the nature of materials collected by the investigating agency, I am of the view that some time will be required to complete the trial. As such without entering into the merits of the case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed. 2 Accordingly, petitioner namely, Salaman Khan shall be released on bail upon furnishing bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand only), with two sureties of Rs. 10,000 (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each, one of whom must be local to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Tamluk. If on bail, the petitioner shall be physically present before the learned trial Court on each and every date and shall not leave the jurisdiction of District of Purba Medinipur without the prior permission of the learned trial Court. Accordingly, CRM (M) 341 of 2026 is allowed. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court.
