JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 3 06-04-2026 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, informant and the State. 2. Petitioner apprehends arrest in Rajapakar (Branti) P. S. Case No. 292 of 2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 80, 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. 3. Prosecution case, in brief, is that marriage of the daughter of informant was solemnized with one Shivdayal Rai in the year 2019. Thereafter, she was subjected to torture and cruelty due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry by the F.I.R. named accused persons, including this petitioner, and on 25.08.2025, the accused persons killed her by administering poison. Allegation against petitioner is general and omnibus and she is simply victim of over implication. Petitioner claims clean antecedent. 5. Learned A.P.P. for the State as well as learned counsel for the informant vehemently opposed the bail application and submitted that petitioner is sister-in-law of the deceased. Husband of the deceased used to stay outside the village for his livelihood and was not present at the time of occurrence. 6. Considering the nature of accusation and the fact that deceased died within seven years of marriage in her matrimonial house under unnatural circumstances, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is refused.
