1. This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:-

2. In the present case, the impugned orders impose a penalty of Rs. 50,000/- on the petitioner allegedly for illegal/unauthorized parking near Mayur Vihar. 3. For the said reasons, issue notice. 4. Ms. Kaur, learned standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent/ DDA and states that the alongwith the illegal parking there was dumping in the river Yamuna. 5. Dr. Bhardwaj, learned counsel for the petitioner, states that the challan only shows illegal parking and fine of Rs. 50,000/- is not only disproportionate but also contrary to law. 6. My attention has been drawn to an order dated 16.12.2025 passed in W.P.(C) 8124/2024 and connected matters wherein similar types of petitions have been considered and disposed of. 7. Accordingly, on the same basis, the present writ petition and along with pending applications, if any, is disposed of without entering into the merits of the case with the following directions :- a) It will be open to the petitioner to make representations to the DDA within four weeks from today. On receipt of the representations, DDA will decide the same not later than six weeks from the date of receipt after affording personal hearing to the authorized representatives of the petitioner. b) Pending the consideration by DDA, the operation of the impugned challans shall remain stayed. c) In case the decision is in favour of the petitioner, the challans will be withdrawn.
If the decision is otherwise i.e., against the interest of the petitioner, DDA will pass speaking orders and communicate the same to the petitioner. However, the orders will not be given effect to for a period of three weeks to enable the petitioner to take recourse to legal remedies.
