ORDER This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to cancel the patta standing in the name of the fourth respondent for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition, based on the petitioner’s representation, dated 18.08.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with the Writ Petition in support of the petitioner’s representation seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of the fourth respondent.
3. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents if the petitioner’s representation, as stated supra, is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the fourth respondent and any other third party whom the second 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P.No.16613 of 2026 respondent deem fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on merits of the petitioner’s representation.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the second respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner’s representation, dated 18.08.2025 seeking for cancellation of the patta for the property more fully disclosed in the prayer to this Writ Petition standing in the name of the fourth respondent, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the fourth respondent and any other third party whom the second respondent deem fit to enquire within the period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
