Matter is heard in presence of the learned advocates representing the petitioner and State respondents. 2. It is submitted by the learned advocate representing the petitioner that in terms of the order dated 26th September, 2024 passed by a coordinate Bench on a writ petition being WPA 19995 of 2024 petitioner did not approach jurisdictional authority under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents & Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as ‘said Act, 2007’). 3. At the same time it is submitted that though concerned police authorities complied with the directions as contained in the order dated 26th September, 2024 passed by the coordinate Bench on the aforesaid writ petition preferred by the petitioner which facilitated the petitioner to stay at his dwelling house but subsequently police assistance did not continue as a result whereof petitioner find it difficult to stay at the dwelling house. 4. Petitioner also submits that CCTV cameras are installed at the said dwelling house which infringes the privacy of the petitioner. Prayer is made for giving direction upon the concerned police authorities which would enable the petitioner to stay at his dwelling house. 5. On perusal of the order dated 26th September, 2024 passed by the coordinate Bench on the writ petition preferred by the petitioner it appears that petitioner was directed to approach the jurisdictional authority under the provisions of said Act of 2007 in order to obviate future harassment at the instance of the respondent nos.4 & 5. 6. Since petitioner has not approached till date the jurisdictional forum under the said Act of 2007, Court reiterates the observations and directions contained in the order dated 26th September, 2024 passed by the coordinate Bench thereby directing the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional authority under the said Act of 2007 by four weeks from date. 7. Concerned police authorities are directed to grant necessary assistance to the petitioner which would permit him to stay at his dwelling house for a period of four weeks. 8. With the aforesaid directions, writ petition stands 2 disposed of. 9. Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
