By way of present petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following substantive reliefs:-
“(i). That the respondents may kindly be directed to consider the case of the applicant for grant of pay, arrears promotion etc as has been done in the case of private respondent within time bound period.
ii). That the respondents may further be directed to regularize the service of the applicant w.e.f. 2002 when he has completed eight years of service and he may be considered under GPF Scheme instead of CPF by allotting him GPF number.”

At the time of hearing the petition, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is under instructions to pray for conversion of relief of regularization after completion

of eight years of continuous service to grant him work-charge status on completion of eight years.

He further submits that the issue with respect to grant of work-charge-status on completion of eight years continuous service has been set at rest by the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No.1595 of 2025, titled State of HP and Ors Vs. Surajmani and Ors.

The factual position is not disputed by the learned counsel for the respondents.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to grant the petitioner benefit in terms of judgment in Surajmani’s case (supra) alongwith consequential benefits flowing therefrom within a period of twelve weeks from the date of passing of this order. The petition stands disposed of.
Pending miscellaneous application (s), if any, also stand disposed of.
