Mr. Nilanjan Adhikari Mr. Sourav Mondal Ms. Oindrila Sinha ..for the petitioner Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. None appears for the respondents despite service. The petitioner claims to be the recorded owner of the plot in question and has submitted an application before the concerned Panchayat on July 11, 2025 seeking permission to raise construction in the said plot. The application is yet to be considered. The petitioner seeks consideration of the application. In view of the above, the Pradhan, Amrasota Gram Panchayat, being the 3rd respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the application within six weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs.
