1. By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks following reliefs:-
“(a) Issue a writ of mandamus, or any other appropriate writ, order or direction of like nature, directing Respondent No. 1 to complete the investigation in FIR No. 0049/2025 under Sections 316(5), 318(4) and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 (erstwhile Sections 409, 420, 34 of Indian Penal Code,1860, respectively) registered at PS Parliament Street, New Delhi, and to file the chargesheet within such fixed time-frame as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper, and not exceeding such period as this Hon'ble Court may stipulate;

(b) Direct the Respondent No.1 to issue Non Bailable Warrants against the Respondents Nos. 3 to 5 for not cooperating in the investigation for the chargesheet to be filed in a time bound manner;
(c) Pass such other or further orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case and in the interest of justice.”
2. At the outset, learned senior counsel for the petitioner seeks to give up his relief as sought in prayer (b) as aforesaid. 3. Be that as it may, learned ASC for State, without adverting to the merits of the present petition, submits that the chargesheet shall be filed before the learned JMFC, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi within a period of two weeks, in all circumstances on or before 15.06.2026. 4. In view of the aforesaid, since there is nothing remaining therein, the present petition, alongwith the pending application, is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
