For Petitioner : Ms.P.Neelavathi For Respondent : Mr.P.Dhileepan, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) O R D E R The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 316(2) and 318(4) of the 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.7768 of 2026 Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, in Crime No.145 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner had induced the de facto complainant to invest a sum of Rs.10,00,000/- under the pretext of “High Returns” and thereafter, the petitioner had cheated the de facto complainant. Hence, the case. 3. It is seen that this Court had earlier dismissed the petitioner’s anticipatory bail petitions in Crl.O.P.Nos.20129 and 33527 of 2025 by orders dated 25.09.2025 and 15.12.2025 respectively. However, without any change in circumstances, the present petition has filed seeking anticipatory bail. 4. Considering the gravity of the offence and the nature of the allegations, this Court is of the view that the petitioner does not deserve the relief of anticipatory bail. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. 27.03.2026 cda 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.7768 of 2026 To 1.The Inspector of Police, Royakottai Police Station, Krishnagiri District. 2.The Public Prosecutor, High Court of Madras. 3/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Crl.O.P.No.7768 of 2026 C.KUMARAPPAN, J. cda Crl.O.P.No.7768 of 2026 27.03.2026 4/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
