Petitioner has challenged a notice dated 13.08.2026, issued by Assistant Municipal Commissioner (Land), Nagar Nigam, Dehradun. By the said notice, petitioner was asked to remove his unauthorised possession over public land, failing which his possession would be removed at his cost. 3. This Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter, as petitioner has simply been asked to remove his possession. If petitioner has anything to say, then he has an opportunity to give reply. 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to give UKHC010150062026 2026:UHC:7647 reply to the notice within one week from today. It shall be open to petitioner to enclose all documents which support his claim for title over the land in question. 5. Subject to petitioner submitting reply within one week, he shall not be dispossessed till final decision is taken by the competent authority, after considering petitioner’s reply. Final decision shall be taken by the competent authority within three weeks from receiving reply from the petitioner. 6. In case petitioner fails to give reply to the notice within stipulated time, then Municipal Corporation, Dehradun shall be at liberty to proceed in the matter, as per law, and petitioner will not be entitled to any protection of this order. 7.
