For Petitioner(s): M/s.A.Balaji For Respondent: Mr.V.Venkata Seshaiya ORDER This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to Remove the Electric pole from petitioners agricultural land by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 24.2.2026. 2. It is the case of the petitioner that his father had purchased the agricultural property in the year 1988 for an extent of 8 acres in S.No.201/1, New Survey No.201/1A in Periyakappankulam Village. In the year 2004, the electricity board erected four poles in petitioner's land without permission of the petitioner. Subsequently, the entire connection which is given in the electricity poles, were damaged due to THANE cyclone, now that aforesaid pole's are standing upon his land as non-functional and idle from the year 2015 and it was not working for more than 10 years. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 24.02.2026 to the respondents to remove the electric pole from the petitioner's agricultural land and the same is pending. Hence, the present writ petition. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioners representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. 4. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and orders will be passed within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court. 5. Heard the learned counsel for both side and perused the materials available on record. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this court directs the first respondent https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP No. 8920 of 2026 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2026 within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
