This is a writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following prayers:- “I. The petitioner’s account bearing no. 0050010100005795 maintained with the Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd., Chandni Chowk Branch, Delhi has been put on debit freeze. 7. Mr. Kaushik, learned counsel for the petitioner, has handed over a Communication dated 23.04.2026 from the ACP, Cyber Crime Police Station, Bengaluru, where the disputed amount is Rs. 2,60,000/- . 8. Mr. Kamre, Sub Inspector, North Cyber Crime Branch, Mumbai appears in person and has handed over the Status Report dated 25.05.2026, wherein the disputed amount is Rs. 2,00,000/-. 9. For the said reason, it is clear that in the present case the disputed amount is Rs. 2,60,000/- + Rs. 2,00,000/- totaling to Rs. 4,60,000/-. However, the entire bank account of the petitioner has been freezed. 10. Both the amounts are disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner. 11. The freezing of bank account has serious consequences creating hardships for commercial entities/ individuals and the same might result in commercial death of the petitioner. 12. In view of the order passed, Mr. Kaushik, learned counsel for the petitioner, does not press the present petition for any other relief and will take appropriate action for removing the lien of Rs. 4,60,000/- in accordance with law. 14.
