For Petitioner: Mr.E.Shanthakumar For Respondent: Mr.S.Vinoth Kumar, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) ORDER The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.03.2026 for the alleged offences under Sections 318(4), 319(2) of BNS and 66D of Act and subsequently altered under Section 318(4), 319(2) and 61(2) of BNS and 66D of IT Act (420, 419 and 120(B) of Indian Penal Code, 1860, in Crime No.116 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 10085 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 4 2. The case of the prosecution is that in an online trading scam, the defacto complainant was induced to transfer Rs.1.36 crores to the accused persons and investigation revealed that the petitioner and others conspired and processed the scam amount through various layers including cryptocurrency transactions. Hence, the case was registered. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a permanent resident and will not abscond if he is released on bail. It is his specific submission that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for the grant of bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), appearing for the respondent police while opposing the grant of bail to the petitioner, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner was arrested on 08.03.2026. He further submitted that there has been no recovery. 5. This Court is of the view that considering the nature of allegations and involvement of the petitioner in organised financial fraud, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 7.
