1. Mr. Nayan Chand Bihani, learned Senior Advocate, representing the State respondents has filed a report dated 21st April, 2026 of the Officer-in-Charge, Burtolla Police Station along with certain documents and the said report is taken on record. Copies of the report dated 21st April, 2026 are made over to the learned Advocates representing the petitioner and the private respondent nos.5 to 10.

2. It is disclosed in the report dated 21st April, 2026 that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, a criminal prosecution being Burtolla Police Station Case No.57 dated 15th April, 2026 was initiated under certain provisions of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. In view of the steps taken by the concerned police authority, it appears, at this stage, no further order needs to be passed on this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. However, the concerned police authority is directed to expedite the investigation and submit report before the jurisdictional Magistrate at an early date. It will be open to the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate, if occasion so arises.
