The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner was appointed in the Supervisor Cadre IV and was posted to the office of the Assistant Director Khadi and Village Industries Board, Dharmapuri, on 03.09.1993. Thereafter, on 02.03.2013, the petitioner was placed under suspended for the alleged irregularities said to have been committed by him at the Footwear Unit, Ambattur. Subsequently, his suspension was revoked on 15.10.2013 and a charge sheet was issued on 08.10.2013. The petitioner submitted an appeal before the second respondent on 30.12.2024; however, the same has not been disposed of till date. Challenging the inaction on the part of the second respondent, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the leaned counsel appearing for the respondents. 4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the appeal submitted by the petitioner on 30.12.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of one (1) month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
